Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 20 April 2026 Last updated: 20 April 2026
1. Acceptance
By accessing https://www.webscrapinghq.com or engaging WebscrapingHQ for a services engagement, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or enter into an engagement.
Throughout these terms, “WebscrapingHQ”, “we”, “our”, and “us” refer to the operating entity (registered in New Delhi, India). “Client”, “you”, and “your” refer to the individual or entity using the site or engaging us for services.
2. Services we provide
WebscrapingHQ provides managed web data operations: custom-scoped, recurring web-scraping and AI-extraction engagements delivered on a schedule agreed with the client. Typical engagements include:
- Recurring extraction pipelines with custom schemas.
- AI-assisted extraction (visual, text, or mixed).
- Scheduled delivery in the client’s format and destination.
- Named point of contact and SLA-backed operational support.
We do not offer a self-serve scraping product, credit packs, per-seat subscriptions, or one-off extracts. Every engagement is scoped and priced to the specific workload.
3. Engagement flow
- Scoping call. We agree on target sources, schema, cadence, delivery format, compliance posture, and pricing. Output is a written scope.
- Build. We build the pipeline, validate against the agreed schema, and share a first sample for the client to sign off.
- Run. The pipeline runs on the agreed cadence. We monitor for source-site changes and patch them within the SLA agreed during scoping.
- Deliver. Data is delivered in the agreed format and destination (FTP, SFTP, AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage, email, Dropbox, Google Drive, custom webhook).
- Support. A named point of contact handles change requests, exception reports, and pipeline questions.
4. Pricing and invoicing
- Pricing is custom per engagement and depends on volume, cadence, schema complexity, and operational load. Starting range is USD 500 per month recurring.
- Invoices are issued at the end of each service month, after services for that month have been rendered. We do not take up-front payment or hold credits on account.
- Payment is due per the terms on the invoice (typically net-15 or net-30).
- Late payment may be subject to interest and/or suspension of the engagement after reasonable notice.
5. Cancellation and termination
- Either party may terminate a recurring engagement with reasonable written notice (typically end-of-cycle). Because invoicing occurs after services are rendered, there is no refund process for services not yet delivered.
- Services rendered up to the effective cancellation date remain billable.
- We may suspend or terminate an engagement immediately in cases of non-payment, abusive use, or where we reasonably determine continued delivery would be legally impermissible.
See our Cancellation & Refund Policy for more detail.
6. Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Ensuring that the use of the data delivered by WebscrapingHQ complies with applicable laws and regulations (data protection, intellectual property, consumer protection, etc.) in the jurisdictions in which the client operates.
- Providing accurate source URLs, schema requirements, and any context needed to scope the engagement.
- Respecting intellectual property and contractual obligations toward third parties (for example, terms of service of data sources, where applicable).
- Maintaining the confidentiality of any access credentials, sample data, or deliverables provided under the engagement.
7. Our compliance posture
WebscrapingHQ builds engagements to meet each client’s compliance requirements. We do not currently hold ISO 27001, SOC 2, or PCI DSS certifications in our own name. For engagements in regulated industries, we will:
- Execute a Data Processing Agreement where required.
- Handle personal data strictly under the lawful basis agreed with the client.
- Apply access controls and encryption-in-transit consistent with the scoped risk.
- Flag up-front if a specific certification requirement cannot be met by our engagement.
8. Intellectual property
- Our IP. Pipelines, source code, tooling, and operational know-how developed in the course of an engagement remain our property.
- Client data. Data delivered to the client under an engagement is licensed to the client for the client’s lawful use, per the engagement scope.
- Website IP. Content, code, and branding on
https://www.webscrapinghq.comare the property of WebscrapingHQ unless otherwise stated.
9. Confidentiality and NDAs
Client project details, scoping conversations, and delivered data are treated as confidential. We are NDA-friendly and will sign a client’s NDA before the scoping call on request. Unless otherwise agreed, we will not publicise client names; case studies are published in anonymised form.
10. Service levels and accuracy
We employ quality-assurance processes (null-rate thresholds, anomaly detection, schema-drift alarms) to maintain accuracy of delivered data. We aim for high reliability but do not guarantee 100% accuracy or uninterrupted availability. Source sites change; our SLA commitments cover detection and remediation timing.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WebscrapingHQ’s aggregate liability under any engagement is limited to the fees paid by the client in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of data, arising from the use or inability to use the services.
12. Service modifications
We may modify our services, operational procedures, or website from time to time. Material changes affecting an active engagement will be communicated to the client with reasonable notice. We may discontinue our services with reasonable notice; for active engagements, we will work with the client to conclude work in an orderly manner.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or any engagement with WebscrapingHQ is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” and “Last updated” fields at the top of this document track the current version. Continued use of the site or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
